If you are invited to apply for these interviews, you will be given a passcode that is used to request interviews. If you have not gotten a passcode, it is most likely you were not selected for these limited interview slots.

Dragon Con Superheroes Wrap Up a Great Community Service Year
ATLANTA – June 13, 2017 – Dragon Con, Atlanta’s internationally known pop culture, sci fi, fantasy, and gaming convention, has selected Special Olympics Georgia as its official charity for 2017.
And the Dragon Con Superheroes wrapped up their slate of 2017 community service projects. This program, now in its fourth year, has contributed more than 2,400 hours in community service to Atlanta-based non-profits.
Since 2013, the convention has consistently raised more than $100,000 for each of its annual official charities, including a $50,000 match from the convention. Funds are raised through convention-based auctions, special merchandise sales, special events, and the dollar-for-dollar match. This year, the convention announced that it will increase its dollar-for-dollar match to up to $100,000.
Dragon Con also recognized its Superheroes community service project volunteers for 2017. Dragon Con members and fans in the Atlanta area are invited to participate in a series of projects reaching different aspects of the metro area’s non-profit community.
Where do I start when I get to Dragon Con? (Or how do I get my badge?)
Dragon Con media relations do not mail out badges before the convention. We require each reporter to pick up their badge at Media Registration, located in the Greenbriar Room of the Hyatt Regency Hotel. Please bring a government issued ID or a Press Pass/Employment ID to pick up your badge.

There are two navigation situations you will need to know about before arriving at the Hyatt Regency:
The Dragon Con Parade
Saturday morning September 3, 2016 crowds line up for the Dragon Con Parade in front of the Hyatt Regency as early as 7AM. At 9:30 AM the roads along the parade route are closed. They remain closed until the parade ends, roughly 11:30 AM. If you are coming to Dragon Con to pick up your badges during this time, please approach the Hyatt Regency from the Marriott Side (Peachtree Center Ave). If you come via Marta, ensure yourself time to get to the Hyatt.
Accessing the Hyatt To Get Your Badge While Badge Checks are Enforced
Every year we at Dragon Con extend the hours for Hotel Badge Checks. If you arrive during a time, for instance Friday evening after 7PM, and badge checks are in effect, you will not be allowed in the hotel. It is possible that the badge checker will understand that you are there to pick up your badge, so explain who you are and ask to be allowed to go to the Greenbriar Room. If that is not possible at this time, please call the Hyatt Regency Greenbriar Room and request an escort to lead you to the Greenbriar Room. 404 577 1234
